I am delighted, honoured and privileged to be elected to serve for a fifth term in Moreton and Saughall Massie.
Labours campaign personally attacking me was one of, if not the dirtiest campaign I have ever seen, in fact Labour in Moreton and Saughall Massie hit a new low. They truly are the nastiest bunch of people is has ever been my misfortune to come across.
Thank you to everyone who has put their trust and faith in me, I will continue to do my very best for you all.
A big ‘thanks’ to the 8,390 people who voted Conservative in yesterday’s Council elections in the Wallasey Constituency.
The Conservative vote share increased by 6.3%, while Labour declined by 0.9%. There was a swing of 3.6% from Labour to Conservative.
Cllr. Chris Blakeley was re-elected to a fifth term as councillor in Moreton West & Saughall Massie (winning 57% of the vote) and now the most successful candidate, of any Party, in Moreton since the creation of Wirral Borough Council 42 years ago.
Ian Lewis was elected in Wallasey Ward, securing 50% of the vote. Following his election, the Liverpool Echo said:
