In six days, voters in Wirral will choose who they want to speak up for them in the Town Hall. And, at this election, the choice couldn’t be clearer.
With less than a week to go, the Labour Leader of Wirral has finally confirmed what people in this community have known for years: it’s Birkenhead first while the rest of Wirral is a very poor second.
Speaking yesterday, Cllr. Phil Davies, outlined plans that will, once again, see money spent in the town, while the rest of the Wirral sees services, such as street lighting and Girtrell Court, cut. The sign on the lectern as he addressed the audience says it all.
