News in brief: Moreton and Saughall Massie

I have been informed today that Burtons have now submitted their planning application. Planning Officers are currently checking it is valid, once that’s done it will be published on the Council website and be open for people to make representations.

Wallasey & Moreton

Berrylands Road: Planning application submitted for five new two storey two bedroom starter homes in Berrylands Road on the land to the rear of the former Morton Arms pub.

Burton’s: at the moment, we are still waiting for the application to build houses on the flood plain near to Burton’s factory.

Westbrook Road: following complaints from residents, Cllr. Chris Blakeley has requested action by the Council to tackle the poor condition of the road surface, near the junction with Saughall Road

Fire Station: we are also waiting for the Fire Authority to submit their application to the Town Hall to build a fire station in Saughall Massie. All three of our local councillors have pledged to notify residents as soon as this application is made – by letter and on our social media.
