A Freedom of Information reveals the cost of the new youth centre in Birkenhead

Be interesting to read the official response. I know from previous correspondence that Merseyside Fire and Rescue Services valued the land at £250,000 but transferred it to the Council for £1.00. I am sure they are hoping the Council will give them the green belt land in Saughall Massie as a Quid Pro Quo……..

Can you please advise on the latest projected figures for the ‘Wirral Youth Zone’ in Birkenhead, namely: 1) the capital contribution from Wirral Borough Council, including value of any land being transferred 2) the revenue contribution each year for the next four years, broken down by costs of salaries, building, marketing and other 3) the numbers of young people that will be expected to attend, broken down by Parliamentary Constituency and, if possible, ward/township 4) how young people will be supported to travel to the building from other parts of Wirral. Many thanks Yours faithfully, Wallasey Conservatives
