It’s All About Teamwork!

This morning, along with Conservative Councillors from Wallasey, Wirral West and Wirral South and activists we were out delivering the lateset edition Newsline in Bebington.  Altogether over 30 people turned up to help.     I went out with the team from Wallasey, Cllr Lesley Rennie, Cllr Ian Lewis, Cllr Paul Hayes, Cllr Denis Knowles and Leah Fraser and between us we delivered to over 800 homes.   Afterwards it was back to the Acorn Pub for a rest and a welcome coffee!     Team two I understand is out this afternoon, mopping up.

  1. Very wise of you to go as a large mob. I hope you didn’t get shouted at or abused – which would be very unfortunate, although understandable.

  2. Great reception from people as we delivered, all recognise how well this Council administration is doing in tackling the problems, and particularly pleased with how open and transparent the Council now is.

  3. Chris, you have a great sense of humour!!!

Yeah. I can just see those welcoming crowds – “So glad you came at the weekend, while we’re trying to relax. We always look forward to your visit, and value our houses being littered with your dreary, unsolicited, tedious, polemical, back-biting propaganda. It really warms our hearts sitting back and relaxing with a glass of wine in one hand and the Newsline in the other. It’s so reassuring to know that there’s somebody we can rely on to take potshots at the enemy, and make cheap political capital on our behalf. Cheers, and here’s a few quid to help you close a few more care homes.”
