This week has been a pretty hectic one. Started Monday with a visit from Theresa Villiers MP, Minister of State for Transport, with responsibility for rail, more on that here. Whilst behind the scenes Wirral Council and Merseyside Police were looking into the ‘New Business’ that had started trading in Moreton. More on that HERE Strangely, since the Police and the Council got involved the website says the business is closed due to ‘Unforseen Plumbing Works’
Tuesday was a full day in Esther McVey’s Office then in the evening of to Wirral’s Planning Committee to speak against Hot Food Takeaway #14, sadly that application was approved on a split vote 7 to 4. Read more on that here.
Wednesday was split between Esther McVey’s Office and the Wallasey Conservatives, then in the evening it was over to the Crowne Plaza to attend the Merseyside Fire and Rescue Community Safety Awards.
Thursday a full day in Esther McVeys office, and the day it was announced by David Cameron that Esther had been appointed PPS to Chris Grayling. Then in the evening I attended the Wirral Tourism Awards at the magnificent Floral Pavillion in New Brighton.
Today, another day in Esther’s Hoylake Office, then tonight it will be a night in, feet up and relax (I hope).
