Lib Dem Candidate Praises Conservatives in Moreton and Saughall Massie

I am delighted, that in an article written by Steve Pitt, Lib Dem candidate for the Moreton West and Saughall Massie by-election on the 26th November,  he praises the hard work and committment of the Local Conservative Councillors.    He says in a blog article :  “Moreton West and Saughall Massie was served by three Conservative councillors, and to be honest and perfectly fair they deserved their place in the ’sun’, all three Conservative councillors, through hard work and effort have made the ward into what they consider a Conservative stronghold.    As Liberal Democrats maybe we could learn some of the lesson’s.”    Thanks Steve, we are of course delighted that you recognise our hard work and commitment to the people we serve.

Couple of observations though Steve.  1) We don’t consider the ward as a Conservative stronghold, that would be very presumtious of us, and perhaps why other parties lose seats.   We will continue to serve the people of Moreton and Saughall Massie with the same level of committment all year round.

Why have you know removed the blog/article?   Embarrassed?

  1. If the Lib Dems need to know why Moreton West and Saughall Massie is a Conservative stronghold, may I be so bold as to suggest the reason for this. All it takes is hard work and commitment and a willingness to listen to people’s concerns which is exactly what our Moreton local Councillors actually do. I am only sorry that Suzanne will not be here to see the election of a Conservative Government next year.
