Polling Day – Use Your Vote!

Tomorrow, Thursday 1st May is polling day for the local elections here in Wirral.  Polling stations are open from 7am until 10pm.   You don’t need a poll card to vote, just go along and give the clerk your name and address and you will be allowed to vote.

I am the candidate in Moreton West and Saughall Massie Ward and I hope to be re-elected so I can continue the work I have started.   I also hope that my colleagues in the Wallasey constituency are successful in their bid for election today; they are:

Leasowe and Moreton East – Ian LEWIS

Liscard – James KEELEY

New Brighton – Sue TAYLOR

Wallasey –  Kate WOOD

Seacombe – Ann LAVIN

  1. Excellent results Chris; well done! A gain of 4 seats leaves you as the largest party, and I trust this means you will be regaining a degree of control on the council – we the electorate are sick of the Labour-Lib Dems coalition, and hopefully now this means we will have commitee charimen prepared to stand up to some of the council officers who have made numerous mistakes.

If Labour and the Lib Dems try to carve it up again between them again, then I believe there will be a lot of trouble. You MUST have a voice on this council.
