This afternoons Christmas Fair was held at Lingham Primary School on Town Meadow Lane. (I am pictured right with Deputy Head Teacher, Phillipa Malcolm)
I have never seen the Main Hall so full of parents and children, the attendance was magnificent. There were lots of stalls and chances to win prizes, I entered guess the weight of the cake, my guess was 3.26kg, who knows I may be in with a chance, I also took part in a chance tombola and won an address book!
In addition to the stalls, there was a Santa’s Grotto, which was very busy with children and parents queuing to get in, I hope everyone got what they wanted from Santa?
I would like to thank everyone who organised the event, your efforts looked to be certainly well rewarded.
Tonight at 7pm its the turn of Foxfield School in Douglas Drive, and tomorrow Christchurch school on Upton Road
