I have dedicated this page to my former colleague, Cllr Suzanne Moseley, who at the young age of 47, sadly, and tragically died as a result of a brain haemorrhage on the 16th September, 2009.
I first met Suzanne in late 2000 when I was organising a petition of objection to a planning application for a quarry in Carr Lane. Suzanne was already on the case, and I was delighted to support her. Our friendship grew, and in 2003 Suzanne was elected to Wirral Council. She was re-elected in 2004, and then re-elected for a third term in 2007. In her time on the Council she served on the Environment Committee, (everything green was her passion), she also served on Economic Regeneration, and for a short while she was a member of the Merseyside Waste Disposal Authority.
Suzanne played an active part in the Wirral Conservative Group, acting as Group Treasurer. I could go on much more, however I have tried to capture some of her campaigns and achievements in the photographs and video (I know Suzanne liked to soundtrack with it) below. They are only a snap shot and do not portray the effort that Suzanne gave to the residents of Moreton and Saughall Massie. RIP.

- At the United Utilities Site in Carr Lane. It was through Suzanne’s perserverence that this site is now so much better managed with a reduction in odours, light and noise pollution

Suzanne with me at the Brickworks recycling site. This site is due to end at the end of September, sadly Suzanne will not be around to see this

Simon, Suzanne and me at the site in Saughall Massie that Redrow have earmarked for future development. Not without a fight!

With me Simon and Leah campaigning to keep Chadwick Street Police Station open, following the announcement of a new Area Command Centre

Working with residents and the Council to try to find out why the lake behind Littlemore Close has grown so big

Very nice tribute Cllr Blakeley.
Very sad
Well done Chris, beautifully done.
What a lovely tribute and also well deserved. Thanks Chris for reminding me and others just how much Suz did to improve our community. She was my friend and my Cllr, I was very lucky to have the best of both!

Saddened by the news Chris – what a beautiful tribute. She will be sorely missed a true campaigner for Moreton and Saughall Massie. No-one else came close.
RIP Suz.
