I think the answer to that is a very firm NO. Wirral University Teaching Hospital (Arrowe Park) is closing wards, cuttting beds and jobs, to save £38.75 million over the next three years, add that to the closure of wards 6 & 7 at VCH a few years ago and you can see damaging impact on the NHS in our area under New Labour.
