Today/tonight sees the BBC’s annual telethon when it hosts yet again the Children in Need programme. Last year saw record breaking amounts of money being raised. OK this year will be tougher, what with the cost of living, increased fuel bills and the credit crunch, but I would urge everyone who can afford something, to give, as they say every penny counts.
