Yesterday I met up with Steve Williams and Leah Fraser and together we went to the Community Centre in Maryland Lane to have lunch with the members of the Lunch Club. We had been invited by Mike Griffiths, Chairman of the Moreton Community Association that operates the centre, and provides lunche’s on Monday Wednesday and Friday for between 20 and 30 older people. The lunche’s are priced at a very reasonable £2.50 for two substantial courses, exceptionall good value for money, particularly good for me and Steve as Leah treated us! Thanks Leah.
