Earlier this evening I attended a ‘You Decide’ panel at Wallasey Town Hall. The panel was charged with spending £38,200, split equally between the wards, on schemes that residents of Moreton, Leasowe and Saughall Massie had decided were their priorities. In Moreton West and Saughall Massie Ward we spent £8,000 on schemes that involved youth sports etc, £1,000 on 20 community learning courses and £10,000 on two vehicle activated road safety signs. We have asked that the engineers investigate sites in Bermuda Road and Borrowdale/Overchurch Road as the priorities with Upton Road as a reserve location.
We also spent £1,000 on a bench and plaque, to be sited as close to Millhouse Lane as possible. The bench and plaque will be a lasting memorial to our colleague, Cllr Suzanne Moseley who sadly, and tragically at the young age of 47 passed away last week. Below I have produced this short video with music as a tribute to Suzanne.
Nice tribute. Thank you.
