Ambleside Avenue flooded with sewage

This afternoon I went to see a resident of Ambleside Avenue in Moreton.   She was concerned that during yesterdays torrential downpour the Avenue flooded with raw sewage, which came out of the rain water gulleys, blocking access to and from her home, unless of course anyone waded threw the sewage.

Sludge residue left behind

When I called today the flooding had subsided, but to the front of her home is a thick sludge which really smells and needs cleaning up ASAP.   To that end I have contacted the Council and requested that they get the area cleansed quickly, and talk to United Utilities about a longer term solution.
