Last night I was at the launch of ‘Go Penguin’ at the Mersey Ferry Terminal at the Pier Head in Liverpool. The first colony of penguins has arrived in the City as the picture above demonstrates, and over the next few weeks more and more will be arriving.
Go Penguins is the new celebratory public art event that is making it’s debut in Liverpool, and schools, artists and community groups will be invited to take part in a festive celebration of arts, culture and the environment.
Once all the penguins have been decorated by schools and community groups, hopefully by the end of October they will be put on public display around the City. Go Penguins are this years answer to, Go Superlambananas. You can read more on this by clicking here
Whilst at the ferry terminal I was invited to a preview of the ‘Fab Four D’ this is a 4 D cinema housed within the Beatles story. I won’t say anything other than wow, what a ten minutes of a sheer magical mystery tour. If you are doing the ‘White Feather exhibition this 4D cinema experience is an absolute must and is included in the price.
