I am delighted to have been invited to the launch party of the ‘Go Penguins’ event being held at the Mersey Ferry Terminal, Pier Head, tomorrow evening.
This is Liverpool city’s biggest public art project of 2009, sculptures of the Antarctic’s most famous resident will stand on locations around the city centre and the suburbs. The exact numbers and location remain a closely guarded secret, but more will be revealed at the launch on Monday 6th July, from 5:30pm.
There is also believed to be an elaborate storyline behind their arrival, which is likely to be revealed in due course. Watch this space!
