Readers of the blog will be aware that I have been working with residents of Brunsfield Close, Amberly Avenue and the wider Moreton community to try to get the car park that services the flats/maisonettes in Brunsfield and Amberly resurfaced.
The car park was fenced off by Barratt Homes, who hold ‘Title Absolute’ in November 2007 for safety reasons, whilst discussions took place with the Council regading adoption. Sadly the guy from Barratts left (but did not tell us) and the whole issue was left. In January this year I contacted Barratts again and spoke at length with a guy, Danny Daly who said he would look into the issue for me, sadly despite another three emails to him he has not responded.
Local people should not have to put up with this eyesore, so to try and move the issue forward I have today written to the Managing Director of Barratt Homes seeking his intervention. Hopefully a response will be forthcoming, but we will have to wait and see. To read my letter to the MD, click here
