Great news, I have just received a call from our local police, they tell me that they have apprehended, arrested and charged a man for carrying out the armed robbery on Leasowe Common last Thursday night. They have also recovered clothing and a gun that they believe was used in the robbery. The man appears in court tomorrow. I really do hope the courts take a very strong line on this type of behaviour, and make sure that this person is locked away so that he can no longer be a menace to our society. Well done Merseyside Police for such a speedy result

Rise in Yob Crime Linked to All-Day Drinking

It has been revealed under the freedom of information act that the Police are struggling to control city centres because of 136% rise in alcohol fuelled anti-social behaviour, this as a direct result fo Labour’s 24 hour licensing laws. When Labour wanted to introduce this law they were warned of the possible disatrous effects it would have by many eminent people, MP’s, senior Police Officers and the medical profession. Despite all those warnings Labour pressed ahead and enacted the law, allowing the very disastrous results that we are witnessing in our society. You can read more here
