Merseytravel’s Traveline Team, for Travel Information and Marketing.
Last night, on behalf of Merseytravel, and along with Cllr Denis Knowles and two members of Merseytravel’s Traveline team, Tim and Lynn, and Leanne, Corporate Relations Manager, I attended the National Transport Awards at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London.
Merseytravel’s Traveline had been shortlisted, along with eight other strong contenders, for the Travel Information and Marketing Award. We were all on tenterhooks for the evening (well Tim and Lynn were) and when it got to our category, (and I am sure we all held our breath and crossed our fingers), we were overjoyed when it was announced that Merseytravel’s Traveline Team had won the category.
This win is a testament to the hard work, dedication and committment this team puts into its work, always putting the customer first. I think I can safely say I speak on behalf of all the elected members who serve on Merseytravel when we say, congratulations the award is well deserved, and I was delighted that I was at the event to share in YOUR victory. Now wheres the Champagne gone?
