More years ago than I care to remember, in the early sixties I went on my first family holiday to the Isle of Man. We travelled there and back on the IOM Ferry ‘The Lady of Mann’, I remember it because I was as sick as a dog, all the way there, and I was no better on the way back. Anyway, a couple of weeks ago I was interested to read a small piece in the Wirral News about the current whereabouts of this once, pride of the IOM Ferries. The article was sent in by my brother Tony, who as you will see took part in the 2000 Round The World Yacht Race, and he came across the Lady of Mann, plying her trade in the Azores.
