It seems to me that more and more taxpayers money is being thrown at agencies to reward those people who have been given ASBO’s or are behaving in a way that causes nuisance.  You can read an article in today’s Liverpool Daily Post which demonstrates this.

Don’t misunderstand me, I fully support all initiatives to deal with anti-social, criminal and bad behaviour, however it appears to me that the many agencies, (and there appears to be hundreds) that are involved with these issues have lost their way in trying to achieve the miriad of targets being set by the Government.    They need to wake up, and instead of just rewarding offenders, they should also use the laws and criminal justice system to penalise them.
