Last night along with my colleague, Cllr Simon Mountney I attended the Friends of Leasowe Lighthouse Annual General Meeting, which was held in the Lighthouse.

The meeting, which was exceptionally well attended was at times a little fraught, with some disagreement over some of the issues being discussed, not least of all the plans for the proposed visitor centre.   

However on the whole a very interesting and enlightening evening which was rounded off with light refreshments and excellent cakes.
