This evening, between 7 and 10pm I was at Leasowe Park and ride with my colleague, Cllr Ian Lewis (the first ever Conservatives Councillor for Leasowe and Moreton East Ward) and members of Wirral’s Respect Team.  Ian is pictured left with the crew!

Ian had asked for Wirral’s Respect Bus to visit the area following many many complaints about anti-social behaviour in the area, most of it of course coming from one particular family, who we understand are soon to be moved. Hurrah.

Also on the bus was Merseyrail’s Security Manager, two officers from British Transport Police and for part of the time two of Moreton’s Police Community Support Officers.   The evening proved to be  a great success with a steady stream of residents visting to talk about their concerns.
